The position today

Where we stand

We track 59 search terms for North America. Across the results for all of them, 500 listings in total, globalbluestar.com appears nowhere.

That is the finding worth acting on. The issue is not that our pages rank low for these terms. It is that there are no pages built to compete for them, so there is nothing for a search engine to rank. The four recommendations below each close part of that gap.

Recommendation 1

Country-level subfolders

Add /us and /uk alongside the existing regional paths, as a pilot.

North America sits at /na and Europe at /eu, so a continent is treated as one market. The United States is effectively the whole of the North America opportunity, and the United Kingdom leads Europe, which means both are competing inside a page built for somewhere broader.

This is not a migration. Nothing moves and nothing redirects. The new country paths are added next to the current ones, with the guardrail that stops the old and new addresses competing with each other. If the pilot does not earn its place, it is removed and the site is exactly as it is today.

Recommendation 2

Publish the seven North America articles

Seven articles are written and ready for the resources section.

They target the terms where the search results are made up of explanatory articles rather than product pages, which is where a manufacturer site can realistically compete. The head terms in this set carry very large search volumes and are held by energy agencies, encyclopaedias and national retailers, so the goal here is to be cited and found on the specific questions underneath them, not to take the broadest term.

Recommendation 3

Get on the lists that already rank

For terms like "hvac manufacturing companies", the pages that rank are lists of manufacturers, and those lists name our competitors.

We read every such list ranking for the tracked terms. 29 of them name 29 heating and cooling brands between them, including Daikin, Bosch, Trane and Rheem. Blue Star is named on none of them. Each one is a published page whose editor can add a manufacturer, which makes this the fastest route to being visible on these terms without waiting for a new page to rank.

Recommendation 4

A page per product

/na/products carries all six products on one page, at roughly 138 words each.

A search for a specific product family has nothing specific to match, because the six products share one address and one title. Splitting them gives each product its own page, its own title and its own place in search, and gives the two families a page each above them.
